Types of dentures: • Immediate dentures Immediate denture are made when patients still have teeth. Impressions are taken at the first appt, then the Lab estimates the jaw bone and fabricates the denture accordingly. At the second appointment, teeth will be extracted and denture is seated immediately at the end of that appointment. The benefit of immediate denture is the ability to have teeth immediately after teeth are extracted.
